Lifted for legs

Yoga - today in yoga we didn't use our mats for half of the class.  Instead we each had two towels and they were placed depending on the pose either under our hands or our feet.  It is amazing how much harder a pose is when your feet or hands are sliding our from under you.  I really had you use my muscles to stay in the pose.  My teacher said this is how we should feel in the poses all the time even when we are on our mats.  She said that we ofter relax in a pose that should be killing us.  We then used our mats for the same poses and tried to get the same feeling... it was hard.  Between lifting and yoga my legs got a really great work out!

Wow I would say that had to be a very tough workout. Good thing you do is so often and shouldnt get that sore from it. Kathie you and Kim should come join us on that trail run. It will be a blast I am sure for all. And we will run your paces for sure. So reconsider coming and doing it pls.

Yea right my pace would be walking to you... no way not this time!

LOL you crack me up. My paces?? I am not that fast. Your paces are great. When I run with Teena and them we average around 9-10 min paces normally. And is totally in your range. Would be the same with these guys on Sat. Since I havent been on the trail before he better be slowing it down for us newbies.:) And with the hills and such it should even be a slower run. Long and slower. Perfect for you and Kimmy. Oh and one last thing. I hear you even run faster when you run with faster people. I am hoping that is true so that is why I run with those guys.

Kathie...

It's amazing how a little change-up in a workout routine can make such a huge difference.

Mark...

You're right, running with faster people DOES make you run faster. That time I ran with you guys up in Park City, I was sure having a hard time keeping up. But that was fun.

Kathie....great job. I thought Yoga was hard even without changing it up. You amaze me what you can make your body do. Keep up the good work
