I needed to run 13.1 miles today to get in my half for the month of November (Cougars Challenge)  I was STILL not feeling well but it was the last day I could do it so I was out the door.  I felt tired and had no energy the whole run,  my legs were never tired but I just couldn't make them move.  I even walked most of the last two miles.  I would run until my lungs would burn and I felt like I was not getting air and then I would walk until my legs got cold (I was in short silly me!)  Here are my very ugly splits!

9:20, 9:49, 9:19, 9:15, 9:24, 9:51, 9:26, 16:03 (stopped to go potty must not have turned off watch oops!)9:20, 10:21, 10:36, 12:31, 11:55

You can totally see where I hit the wall.  This has really never happened to me like this before and I hope it never does again!

Kathie...

That is still a dang good run. Way to tough it out. Maybe you are still feeling the effects of being sick...or maybe even the turkey trot.

Kathie!!!

You toughed it out, met the challenge and got her done. Hats off to you. You had an outstanding race BTW and that should count for something. Hope you are feeling better today...rest up.

Hey Kathie,

You are amazing!! Be careful with your lungs. It was this time last year that my asthma got the best of me (because i pushed myself too hard when I was sick) my lungs have not been the same and I haven't been able to get off of all the meds since. Do you have asthma?

You are awesome!! Lotsa Love!

You must not have had enough stuffing, mashed potatos, pie, etc. to carry you through your run. Next year eat more.
