4 easy miles with Heidi and then 6 marathon pace miles except for the fact that I cant run even pacing the run felt very good.  I really need to run more marathon pace miles and really try hard to stay right on pace.

Splits: 9:26, 9:34, 10:15, 10:03, 8:15, 8:06, 8:19, 8:14, 8:36

When looking and these splits they don't seem too bad until you know the pace I was shooting for is 8:34...didn't quit hit it did I!!!!!

Now for the best news of all!!!!!

My son got his Mission call to:

Congratulations to your son.

Be happy with your MP miles. Even though you did not hit the pace you wanted, they were faster which is a very good sign. Worry less about the number and more about how they felt. If it felt like a good, consistent effort then the workout was a success.

Kathie, I just saw this about your son over on the Forum. I've been busy and not on the blog last week. That is very exciting news. Is he excited to learn Mandrin? I'm from Houston so that's exciting to me.

Mandarin speaking? WOW! I can imagine it would be hard learning that over seas, let alone in the comfort of America! Congrats on an amazing call and to your son worthy of such a call.
