First 8 with Heidi and Kimmy...Loved it!!!!

Next three with random runners I ran into running Ogden for the first time

Next 6 alone.

It was very windy and I kept telling myself that Boston is known for being windy and I should train in the wind but by mile 17 I had enough.

Last 5 on the treadmil

Splits: 10:05, 9:34, 9:19, 9:42, 10:08, 10:47, 9:53, 9:49, 9:06, 10:17, 9:21, 8:38, 9:48, 9:17, 9:02, 8:55, 9:02,

Miles are a lot slower than last weeks but i felt really good after the run.  I have 800 meter repeats on schedule for Monday and I think I will be able to do them because this run was so slow

Rise and Shout!!!!!

GOOD JOB with all those miles today! Smart to save the speed for Monday's speed work!

I have yet to run any real speedwork this cycle!

Well done, Kathy!

Yeah, since my daughter's Aggies are out, I suppose I can cheer whole-heartedly for the Coug's now, eh?

Great job. Long runs are about time on your feet. They are supposed to be slow. Your training has been very impressive. Boston will be a great race.

Are you running another 20 miler before taper? If so, are you doing a 2 week taper then?

From fly on the Wall on Mon, Mar 21, 2011 at 19:59:48 from 204.113.19.47

Well done on another long run!

Rise and shout?

Smooth - the schedule calls for 17, 16, 12. I think I would like to do one more 20 though. How about you what are your plans?

Fly - I wrote that right before the cougar game...really you should know better!

From Smooth on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 00:35:27 from 67.2.105.240

The Pfitz schedule has me do 20, 17, 13. I may do 21, 18, 13. I prefer a 2 weeks taper, but with my fickle knee, 3 weeks is probably better.

When and Where are you going to do 21 on Saturday? I may join you if that is ok.

From fly on the Wall on Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 10:44:25 from 204.113.19.47

Ahhhhh..... I see. Shouting is probably a good idea, especially if this cougar game involves stalking prey. There are cougar warnings posted in City Creek Canyon and we've seen several fresh deer kills on area trails.

Kathie ~ We are running from Lehi to the Temple to Cedar Hills then up to Alpine and back. We are starting at 6:30am. I posted on my blog what we're planning to do!

I will LOVE LOVE LOVE it if you can join us!
