12  miles today.  I wanted to go 10 I ran six and then met up with the running group.  There was a new runner there so I ran two with her and then headed out on my own.  I then ran into two neighbors they were heading out for four miles I only needed two more but what the heck.  Problem was at mile 10 my shin really started to bother me.  I also had not brought any water/Gu along and I really started to get hungry and thirsty.  Walked the last half mile as a cool down.

splits:

9:04, 8:57, 8:46, 8:56, 9:45 (hill) 11:06 (forgot to turn gamin off to meet with group) 11:47, 9:05, 9:18, 9:36, 9:38, 11:52

You are so kind to think of others while on your long run. I hope the shin pain goes away quickly.

Excellent. What are you training for? Any races coming up soon?

NICE 12 miler! GOOD JOB helping the new comer and your neighbors. Are you running any SG RS before the end of the year?

No I think I will run the St. George half (painters) and then Lake to Lake.

Nice run Kathie. I just had to comment when I saw that our monthly mileage was exactly the same....although mine includes today.

You are so diehard!!!

Nice job on the 12 miler. Take care of your shins before they cause bigger problems.

Love ya!
