3 EZ miles.  Last year in the Wasatch Back the heat killed me.  For my run today I waited until 12:30 to go running so I could run in the heat of the day even thought it was not that hot out today.  The heat did bother me a little bit but the steel cut oats I had for lunch about killed me.  I wanted to go 5 miles today but at 1.5 miles I was worried I wouldn't make it home!  I made it home but I still feel sick.  Note to self  NEVER RUN ON STEEL CUT OATMEAL!!!!!!!

Glad you made it home without any great embarasment. Now you know not to eat Steel Cut Oatmeal on race day.

Those blasted oats. Mental note dont eat steel cut oats. I think that is a great plan about running in the heat. I tell you what that heat was tough last year and I am sure we can expect the same again this year. I am thinking your plan is a good idea. And maybe throw in another run a few hrs later. I am going to try runs late on Wens nights and then early on Thurs just to get in a quick double and then after a few of those do another in the evening.
