5.5 miles I wanted to do more but hubby said I had to go to the ward breakfast. What are your feelings on attending church activities?  My husband thinks we should support them all, I think we should go to the ones that pertain to our callings but not all of them, especially if you have a run to do. :)

Way to pick it up at the end! If I were you, I'd be thankful that your hubby wants to attend church activities (there are lots worse things he could be doing). Don't take my advice...I try to squeeze in both, but sometimes running is much more fun!

Oh Kathie!! You really have opened a can on here. Can't wait to see what everyone says.

First, nice job on your run.

Second, I don't know that I dare answer your question! :)

Seriously though, I used to be one that felt obligated to go to EVERYTHING! Guess what I learned? People get to know you when you do that and you get all of the callings as well!!! STINK!!! (I'm just teasing ... kind of.)

Truly though, I don't feel obligated to go to everything anymore. Especially if what I need is just time with Ry or the kids without all the hussle and bussle. Personally, I think here in Utah, perhaps other places as well, that we have too much stuff (activities, meetings, etc).

In short ... perhaps I have no idea where I stand!!! :) :) :)

Can't wait to hear everyone else's viewpoints.

Nice run. Glad to see you started out slow. I would answer your question but don't think that the opinion of a heathen would carry much weight.

Nice run, Kathie. Too bad you had to cut it short.

You are no heathen Andy -- who are you trying to fool? :)
