5 ez miles - legs were very sore at first but it all seemed to work out near the end.

Have any of you heard about a line of products called Enlyten?  A neighbor of mine is a distributor and has asked me to try them.  They are like the breathe strips that you put in your mouth but instead of fresh breath they give you energy or replenish your electrolytes.  I tried them just today and think they are OK.  I will try them again on my long run on Saturday.  They are very small so I see a big advantage if they work

Canyon gave me a strip to try on while we were waiting at the Athlete Village at Hopkinton. I like the flavor. I think they're great. They're more convenient than the "salt stick" tablets I used. I will be interested in getting some. Canyon said she gets hers on-line.

NICE EZ miles.

Hmm very interesting. I am using some S-caps right now. But would be interested in trying something else too. Let us know how they work.

Never heard of the company but the concept seems interesting. Keep us posted on your experience and maybe I'll have to give them a try. Nice run.

So did you feel any energy boost? I get the whole electrolyte thing, but what is in it that gives you energy?

Nice run today. Way to work through the soreness.

Hey, does your neighbor give discounts for friend of neighbor? How much are those little thing anyway?

They come in packages of 22 for 10.00 but you cant buy just one you have to buy four.

Here is her web site I think you can get a free sample. I will ask her if I can get you a better price.

I saw Canyon with some at the Village..but didn't want to try something new on the morning of a race (Smooth I can't believe you tried something new on the morning of a race...isn't that one of the 7 Deadly Marathon Sins? :)

Let us know how it goes.

Marc,

I committed more than one of the 7 Deadly Marathon Sins. I ate Chex Mix on the bus ride. I carb-load way overboard the day before and on the morning of the race. I'm gonna give those enlyten a try with the summer training runs.
