.5 miles @ 9:13 3 miles at race pace 8:20 and then .5 cool down.  Felt OK.  I got light headed in the middle of the run and then very hungry... the treadmill said my heart rate was 207.  I knew that was wrong but it freak me out.  When I looked at my watch my heart rate was 144 which is actually lower than normal for that speed.  I felt better about a half mile later.  Not sure what caused it but I am happy it didn't mess up my run.

Lifted for legs - last time I lift before Ogden. lighter weights but more reps.

Spin class - Hill work.  My Glutes will be sore tomorrow!

Didn't that happen to Dale? May be your blood pressure or blood sugar is too low? Be sure to hydrate well, breath deeply during the cool down. Did you eat breakfast? I always eat something before my workout or I feel hungry during my run.

I was feeling weak/fatigue and blood sugar was low the taper week before Boston. May be the tapering has something to do with it? I'm always amazed at how much Xtrain and strength training you do.

Hopefully it was just a one time thing. I'm with Smooth on the amazement about your cross training.

Great workout. Your doing awesome. I cant wait to hear how Ogden goes for you. Even though I know you guys will be gone by the time I get there to the finish. I am sure your going to do great.

I get a little light headed on rare occasions when I am running too. Not sure what causes it but it always goes away. I have seen my heart rake spike a few times too on the Garmin. Kinda freaky but I'm sure it's just hiccup with the electronics. Hope you are feeling better.

You are getting faster and faster!!! Too bad about feeling light headed and hungry. I usually get light headed after the run, but it seems to have gone away for now.
