Really wanted to do 12 today but the conditions were not good at all.  It was my own fault I should have known better.  I went to the legacy parkway trail, it was very snowy but I was happy to see Andy's car there.  I was going to follow his footsteps in the snow.  After I got on the trail I realized that Andy had not run this way for a very good reason.  It was way too slippery I couldn't do anything but concentrate on not falling.  Rather than 6 miles I only got 4.  Met up with the running group, my left glute was bugging me ran four more on the road and called it good.

After the run we all went to Paradise Bakery and Julie the winner of the St. George marathon talked to us.  It was so informative.  I am so glad I went.

SAD SAD splits: 11:15, 12:10, 12:00, 11:29, 9:52, 9:45, 9:37, 9:45

Now I need to go help my daughter get ready for her first dance...boys are so much easier, and cheaper too!

Sorry the conditions were not great -- I would have turned around right then and there!

Nice job.

Glad you got some good info from Julie. Have fun helping your daughter! :)

They are not sad splits considering what you were running on. I think you are going to feel it for a couple of days.

Hey Kathie ~ You were smart to get off the slippery trail. My splits were sadder than sad. My legs felt like they've been run over by a semi! GOOD JOB gettin' her done. Glad you had an informative get-together with Julie. Paradise Bakery sounds like mmm paradise!

Those are not sad splits. Miles in the snow are typically 3 min slower per mile compared to dry roads.

Nice job on the snowy trail. It's not easy running fast when you're slippin' and slidin'.
