This seemed to be harder than it should be again today.  Legs feel thrashed.  I hope the taper next week will put me in race shape!

Kathie...

Yeah, hopefully the taper will help out with the dead legs. I think I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and then take off the two days before the race. I won't do any speed work next week, though.

Kathie,

You are going to be fine at Painters. You have trained so stinkin' hard ... it will pay off BIG!!! No worries!

You're going to be great with tons of energy after your taper. What are you doing for you long run this week. Hopefully not too far, but maybe closer to marathon pace?

Rhett - I am scheduled to do 12 miles on Saturday. I wanted the last six to be marathon pace 8:45. Should I do less miles and try for more at half marathon pace? I think It will be hard to do anything too fast, we are going to get more snow!

I think what you have planned will be about right. You may want to cut out a couple of those first 6 if you are at all tierd. I think I will only do 10 this sat.
