When and ran 3.5 before joining the SDRR two new girls were there.  They wanted to run the 5k route of there TRI next Saturday.  It is the same route that I run every Thanksgiving. so we  ran it with them.  After 1.5 miles they had fallen back pretty far from the group and I was afraid that they might miss a turn so I ran back to them. Then I just stayed with them for the rest of the run.

Didn't feel like I got a good enough work out so I joined an ultimate frisbee game at the park across from my street.  I played for about an hour it was really fun.  I was the only girl and they had me guarding a 15 year old 6' tall boy.

Ultimate frisbee with a bunch of guys! Are you crazy! Looks like you had a really nice recovery week after Ogden. Just what you need to start getting into the swing of things for SGM.

She must be crazy. I would have lost an eye had I tried something like that....

Hey crazy, sign up for the Wasatch Steeplechase. I have a baby sitter lined up so I'm in (my wife is working that day).

Nice workout with the guys, Kathie. Sounds like a lot of fun. So how did you do against the 6' tall 15 year old?

"The Steeple chase would kill me!"

No it wouldn't. Don't you know what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
