3.5 mile tempo run.  It was really hard today.  I have to admit I jumped off a couple of times to catch my breath.  Mentally I have lost my edge, I am not sure how to get it back.  I hope I didn't peak too soon!

Way to be disciplined and do the tempo. I bailed on mine today, and just went easy.

Training makes you tired. You haven't peaked or lost your edge. Are you running the Freedom Run on Saturday? That might get things jump started again.

I will be in St. George on Saturday. I have mapped out a three mile loop that I plan on running 5 times in the 102 degree heat. I think I will hop in the pool after each loop!

Kathie, way to get 'er done!!! I need to GET that mental edge. LOL. I have to hop off and catch my breath every now and then, too.

I dont know if its mental or just still recovering from that Ragnar. It seriously seemed to take me like 2 weeks to get back to normal. Mentally and caught up on sleep we lost from that relay. Give yourself some time to recover and you will be tearing it up all over again.

You'll get that edge back soon enough! (when you find it, send some my way)

I agree with Mark Kathie!!

You haven't lost anything ... just a little tired maybe.

I told you ... you need to find some guy who thinks he's all that and kick his trash. It's fool proof!!! :)

Love you.

I hear ya, makes you wonder if a day or two off is in order. Way to "gut it out."
