Did really like my run today.  It felt harder than I thought it should have.  I talked to Andy after and I think I am going out too fast, I will try and slow it down next week.

Splits:8:42, 8:35, 8:35, 8:41, 8:45, 8:30, 12:55 (forgot to turn watch off to meet the group AGAIN!!!) 8:53, 9:04, 9:03, 9:12, 8:45

After looking at the splits I don't feel as bad but those last three miles were hard!

I think the bigger issue today was that you ran a race 2 days ago. A lot of your miles are faster than marathon pace which will make you feel more tired at the end. Now that it is winter, when you run outside give yourself a couple of of easy miles to warm up. I think it is great how much you have improved in the past year.

NICE 12 miler there! Andy has some good points. It's so exciting to watch your improvement. Keep it up, Kathie!

Very nice job, Kathie. Yeah, don't be too hard on yourself. It's never easy doing a run so shortly after a race.

Andy is probably right about just having run the 10K making you tired.
