I had to run my long SLOW distance run today because I have to pick up my kids from efy on Saturday.  I knew this run would be hard with out a rest day and I was right.  I told myself before the run that I just need to put the miles in and not worry about time.

Splits: 9:49, 9:35, 9:20, 9:13, 9:24, 9:07, 9:12, 9:29, 9:23, 9:33, 9:58, 9:06, 9:56, 10:24, 10:38, 13:35 (ran/walked this mile)

Nice long run. I think it is good to not rest before a long run, as it helps build your stamina. Well done.

GOOD JOB pushing it through. It's all about endurance. You're doing great.

Great job, Kathie. I have to tell myself that same thing all the time. If not, I will be disappointed.

Way to "endure to the end" Kathie!

Nicely done Kathie (btw ... I need a nickname for you ... no fair that you can call me Dump Truck and I have nothing to reciprocate with ... hmmm ... need to brainstorm this one).

Seriously, way to fit the long run in. I think you were smart not to worry about the pace.

Hope your kids enjoyed EFY.
