I ran 5 miles on my own and then 5 miles with the running group. Felt really good. We ran on the Legacy Park way. It is so flat and it felt good not to fight the hills (I did miss the down hill though)

splits 9:42 (ran back to car for gloves and hat forgot to stop watch) 8:35, 8:35, 8:36, 8:57, 9:03, 8:54, 9:09, 9:04, 9:14

Also, I watched the video on RivertonPaul's blog. UNBELIEVABLE!!! That is completely nuts!!! I'm all for competition but PLEASE!!! So, were there any consequences for her actions?

Teena she was suspended indefinitely but that was the last game of the season...I doubt it will carry over to next year!

Kathie, I saw that on Sports Center yesterday morning and it has been getting a lot of run on sports talk shows. It was amazing how blatant she was and that the referees missed it every time. At some point the BYU chick should have gotten up and smacked that NM girl.

Rhett - I personally know the BYU player. She is top quality in every way. She was kicked of the Olympic development team because she wouldn't play on Sunday. Her standards are so high I know she would never stoop that low. Being a great person/player is way more important to her than winning a game or even retaliation.

Kathie, I respect that and was very relieved when I started watching it on Sports Center that it wasn't the BYU player who was the thug. She did set a very good example for everyone. I probably would not have been so kind after a few of those fouls.
