Today called for 4 X 800 meters at 8.0 (7:30) speed 1% incline.  It was really hard I had to really talk myself through these.  I wanted to quit so many times but did not so I am proud of that.  I came up with a new mantra to help me out "pain doesn't effect my performance or form"  I would say this over and over when I wanted to quit.  Every time I said the word form I would mentally make sure it was correct.

Lifted for legs.

Nice mantra...a little longer than any of the ones I have ever had like. "Hills are my friends". When do you rest for WBR?

I love the montra and especially that you are focusing on good form. I truely believe that correct form will make you a faster more efficient runner. Good job not letting yourself quit. I bet you felt great when you were done.
