Today was scheduled to be a 6 mile race pace run I ended up doing only 3 with 2 of them at race pace.  I have not really cut down any of my St. George training to taper for the Wasatch Back and today I paid for it big time.  My quads are really sore I just couldn't get moving at all.  I really don't have the Wasatch Back as a goal race however leg 6 had kicked my butt for two years now and this year I wanted to kick back,  I don't run it until 5:30 on Friday so maybe that is enough time to rest I hope so.

splits: 8:49, 9:08, 8:53

Get off your feet and rest as much as possible today; I want to be able to cheer you on while under your own power!! See you tomorrow morning......oh, and if you need us to bring anything else other than bananas and oranges just give Huans a call :-)

Atleast you were smart enough to cut the run down to 3 miles. I'm sure you'll be ready to kick tail by race time. Good luck.

I have total confidence that your legs will be ready tomorrow. I start running around 5:30 too at a pedestrian pace.

You will do GREAT and have a blast. You always do!!!

I don't even have to tell you to have fun...as I'm sure that's a foregone conclusion! Take lots of pictures. Get lots of roadkills this year!
