Walked three easy miles just to loosen up.  Quads still feel a little sore but I think I will run tomorrow.

Finally, someone that admits having sore muscles!!! Mine are very sore. I think I'll try and run tomorrow, too. Are you feeling any better, Kathie?

From Smooth on Tue, Jan 20, 2009 at 16:27:25

Dale,

You are so funny!!! I am SORE every day, not just post race. I will sound like a broken record if I ADMIT I have soreness on all my blogs. You know you're getting stronger and better when you have sore muscles.

Kathie,

Walking is great active recovery. Are you walking normal? After DesNews, my quads were like jello, I had to hold onto my hubby when I walked. I looked like one of those nursing home residents minus the walker with baby steps. Stepping up and down the little 3" curb was a HUGE task.

Do yoga baby, you already know YOGA rules, right?

You definately deserve a nice easy couple of days after your monster PR on Saturday.

Dale...My muscles were sore and achy as well, I must not have made that clear on my blog. Not like a marathon but definatly sore enough to slow me down.

Smooth...Broken record or not, it's nice to know that I am not the only one suffereing from pain every day.
