Well as you can see we didn't get in 17 miles today as scheduled.  I slept at my moms in Orem Friday night.  Kim and I planned on running up the Provo trail and then back to moms house for a total of 17 miles.  Right before I left I grabbed my cell phone (I normally don't run with it)  As we were heading out Kim said her tummy was upset, I guess she had some potato salad Friday night that didn't agree with her.  She kept thinking that it would go away and that she would feel better.  At 6 miles she told me to go on and that she would catch up but I didn't want to leave her.  Finally at 10 miles she vomited, we thought that would be the end of it and we could get in the rest of our run but not a chance she was still sick.  At 11.6 I called my mom and she came and got us.  It is a good thing that I had my cell phone.  We have a 12 scheduled for next week and we can just swap them.  Kim was really upset, she wanted a great run today.  Like Andy she has been looking for her Mojo this year and really needed a great run to boost her confidence.  I hope next week is better.

Crazy how sometimes you just know when you might need the cell phone. Hope she is feeling better. I'm beginning to believe that the mojo is a myth.

Way to get in what you could.

Please tell Kimmy I've been thinking of her. So sorry she felt sick, darn holiday food! Hope she feels better soon. Good thing you had the intuition to bring your cell phone and Kimmy had you to run with. Here's to better running days ahead for you both.

Sounds like Kimmie had a run like mine two weeks ago at Bryce, at least things weren't coming out the other end (yuck). She's lucky to have had you there with her....I don't think there's anything much worse than being sick on a run by yourself.

I hope Kimmy is feeling much better!! Stupid mayo!!!

Please tell her hello for me!

When are you two going to meet at Gardner's Village again?

You're such a great sister. Not too many people would skip running 8 miles for their sister. :-) I hope Kimmie is feeling better.

Tough run! Kudos for making it to 11 miles, that must have been torture for poor Kim.
