Four easy miles with Katlyn, I didn't even take my watch.

I have found a race in Japan that I want to run, (i think) my problem is there is not a info page in English.  Could anyone translate this for me? http://www.furusato.gr.jp/

I need to know if there is a half marathon as well as full, and how much it will cost.   Really I need to know so much but that is a start.

Kathie...I sent you a PM on the forum with the info translated. Somehow I was able to translate using the computer. Some of it is a little confusing. You know how computers can be. lol

Thanks Dale, It looks like the last day to register was on the 10th. I have sent them an e-mail hopefully they will still let me enter.

That would be a lot of fun.

Are you planning on going to Japan for something besides the race? That is a long way to go just to run. Sounds like fun though.

That sounds like so much fun to run a race in Japan. Tom and I went there about a year and a half ago with two of our boys. We wanted to run a race there but it didn't work out. We did run each day though. Our hotel was just a few blocks away from the emperor's castle so we ran aroung it each morning. My favorite thing was all the 'ohio goziamus" that we got each morning. And yes, I'm sure I did not spell that right.

Rhett - My husband is going to work there for the next 3-4 months. I am going over in November to see him, and race if I can.

Kim - You spelled it well enough for me to know exactly what you were saying! We will be over in the Shinjuku part of Tokyo there are two parks there that I have been told are great for running.
