Half mile warm up 5X400 meter repeats at 7:30 1% incline 1.25 mile cool down.  Lucky for me the gym here has the same treadmills as my gym at home.  If not I would I never been able to guess how to turn it on let alone to repeats!

Walked all over Tokyo.  I am having the best time!

I think I went 5 miles today, my garmin kept wigging out!  I has me running a 6:23 mile and we all know that is not right.  The average for the run was 8:37 which sounds about right though.  I had to run in the city.  I was weaving in and out of business men, bikers and mopeds.  It definitely kept me on my toes!

Walked all over Tokyo...my legs are starting to feel all this walking.  I may take tomorrow off.

Legs are too sore to run, not really sore just tired.  We are going into James office today to meet all the reps.  I guess I better brush up on my bowing

This is where I ran Today It is a 2 mile loop around Akasaka Place.  It has two very steep up hill parts, that kicked my booty.  I ran around it four times for a total of  8 miles.  At the seventh mile a passed a group of six high school age boys out for what looked like a recovery run .  They were running two by two with the front two boys setting the pace.  When I passed them I could hear some of the boys start to complain.  I couldn't understand what they were saying but I am sure it was "don't let that old lady pass us!!!!"  The front boys started to pick up the pace just a little but I couldn't let them pass me so I picked it up too. The problem was this was after 7 miles and at the start of the longest up hill section.  I held them off and when I stopped to meet my husband I could hear them complain again, I am sure if I had given them another half mile they could have caught me easy.

Finally I forced myself to run still feeling the effects of jet lag...I think I am just handling this all wrong.  I hope I feel better tomorrow.

Strong tail wind first half and head wind at the end.  Walked the last mile with a friend I have not seen in months.  She works two jobs and is going to school.  If she can fit in a walk I should never miss a run!

Easy run with the running group.  I did 4 before they met and then 3.5 with the group.  I still didn't sleep last night, I am not sure this is ever going to end.  I got up a 6:15 to run anyway I can't put running off any more.  I guess I will just have to run tired until my body clock swings back to normal.  I felt like a zombie out there running really I think I fell asleep for a few miles because I total don't remember them.  Not sure if it is even safe for me to drive like this.

Splits: 8:39, 8:54, 9:19, 9:35, 8:41, 10:04, 9:42, Last two miles a ran with slower runners to show them the 5K course for Thursday.

5.5 miles I was suppose to do 7X400 meter repeats.  When I blogged about this run last year I wrote how I thought they felt easy.  This year it was not easy at all!!!!! I only did 6.5 repeats and the last 2.5 I took of the 1% incline.  I am so mad at my self, have let distractions of all kinds get in the way my of running.  I would still like to PR at Boston this year.  I am clearly not in as good of shape as I was last year at this time.  How do you guy think I should train for Boston now? I want to start training harder than I did last year but I am afraid if I start now being so out of shape I will just get injured.  Any advise will be welcome.

Ran the local 5K with my family.  I wanted to run with my daughter but I lost her in the crowd right at the start.  I found my daughter-in-laws sister and ran with her.  She had never ran any faster than a 10 minute mile.  She finished at 28:xx I was so proud of her.  I could tell she wanted to slow down the last mile but she hung in.

These felt much harder than they should have.  6 on my own 6 with the group only three people showed up.  I think our little group is dieing.  I am going to try and add more miles during the week, it seems like I die at 10 miles so if I bump my 6 mile runs to 10 miles eventually it will feel easier, I hope!
