This is where I ran Today It is a 2 mile loop around Akasaka Place.  It has two very steep up hill parts, that kicked my booty.  I ran around it four times for a total of  8 miles.  At the seventh mile a passed a group of six high school age boys out for what looked like a recovery run .  They were running two by two with the front two boys setting the pace.  When I passed them I could hear some of the boys start to complain.  I couldn't understand what they were saying but I am sure it was "don't let that old lady pass us!!!!"  The front boys started to pick up the pace just a little but I couldn't let them pass me so I picked it up too. The problem was this was after 7 miles and at the start of the longest up hill section.  I held them off and when I stopped to meet my husband I could hear them complain again, I am sure if I had given them another half mile they could have caught me easy.

 Splits:9:58, 9:36, 8:42, 8:45, 10:31, 11:03 (walked with hubby for a while)9:46, 8:41(mile I raced the boys )

That's a great story. Way to put those boys to shame. Smart move, stopping before they could catch you.
