SOunds like you did pretty good, even though you really didn't want to be there. I know exactly how you felt. I think that's why I flopped at Ogden last year. At the half way point, I just didn't want to do it anymore. In fact, your race sounds similar to mine last year. It doesn't make it any better when the ipod quits working. I felt the same way at Painter's this year. I just did NOT want to run it and almost gave up three miles into it, but silly me, I kept on going and struggled the entire way.

You know, looking back, maybe I should have signed up for Ogden this year and not do Park City. I have a hard enough time running at this elevation. What makes me think I can run a marathon at 7,000 feet that is mostly uphill....Hmmmm. What was I thinking? LOL.

Just wondering how you are feeling?
I am getting really really really hungry. When are you free for lunch?

I think your time shows that your fitness is awesome. It was hard to get into it when your heart wasn't in it.
I find it interesting that your first Boston and Ogden times are relatively like my first Boston and Ogden time. In 2008, my Ogden time was 2 min. slower than my Boston time.
Ogden has not been my favorite. I wouldn't have run it if it weren't for you and the forumflyer family.
Hope you're enjoying the week and time with your hubby!
