What a day! Saw a ton of friends, spent the day with family and came home with hardware! I wanted to run this race fast but I knew with all the lifting I have been doing my legs may not cooperate. I was going to try to break 24 minutes but I didn't even come close with a time of 24:50 (garmin) but it was good enough to take third in my division. I guess it pays to be an old lady. My mom took first in her division, so did her friend and my neighbors also both took first. My neighbors had to leave early so they asked if I would pick up their awards. My daughter picked up one and Kimmy picked up the other. Because of their awards everyone I was sitting with got to go up and get an award, I think the people behind us were getting tired of our cheering! Splits: 8:17, 8:18 (hill), 7:35
