Ok I am hurt...STINK!  I think I was compensating trying not to hurt my heel and now both my heel and shin hurt.  It was to the point that I could only do 3.5 of the 6 I had planned to do today.  Even when I lifted weights it hurt to even put weight on my shin.  It is not really the shin where the pain starts, it is in the front part of my ankle and the pain radiates up the shin. I have ice on it now and I think I will skip my 6 mile run tomorrow and just do a spin class not sure where to take it from there.

Lifted for legs added dead lifts to the routine

Spin - Shin didn't hurt.

Please, please, please be careful. My leg thing started with mild to moderate shin pain and now... well who knows what's up, but it isn't good.

Looking back I wish I had just quit running at the first sign of pain. I probably would have only missed a few weeks. Instead I ran through it and now, I don't run at all. If the pain is that high please don't run on it.

That is the plan for now, it seemed to not hurt while I spin so that is what I am going to do tomorrow. Elliptical on Friday and play Saturday by ear.

I'm with Rhett. Don't even consider running until next week. Seriously.

I'm sorry you're hurt. I had anterior lower shins pain after Ogden and after UVM. It hurts worst when I get up in the morning, even walking, or with any flexion and extension movements of the feet. The compression sleeves seem to help. I wore them all day long the first couple of days even when I wasn't running.

Yes, please be careful.

STINK! Sorry to hear you're injured. I'm sure it won't keep you down for too long. Get better soon!
