One mile warm up 8X400 meter repeats at 7:30 2 mile cool down.  They felt better than two weeks ago but I know I am still behind last years fitness level.

You'll get back to where you were.

NICE speedwork! Good to know it felt better than 2 wks ago. Just keep at it, you'll be fitter than last year in no time!

Way to get in the speed work.

I'm trying something new. Last year coming off my injury I only ran 3 days a week: Speed, tempo, and long. Everything I did was quality running. This year I'm trying to build a big milage base before doing any speed work. It is weird not doing any fast running. It will be interesting to see how my body responds to the new training.

Glad you felt better with your 400's today.

nice speed work -- glad to see you continue racking up the miles. What's your next race?
