This run almost didn't happen woke up at 6:00 got all ready and headed to the front door only to see two inches of snow on the ground.  Where I run is so hilly I was afraid I would be slipping and sliding all over the road.

Went up stairs, started to take my shoes off to go back to bed and then I remembered I had a pair of Yaktrax that I had never used...I put my trail shoes on with the Yaktrax and headed out the door.  They worked great!  I only used the Yaktrax for the first mile but at least they got me out the door!

Splits:9:16, 9:08, 9:05, 8:52, 9:48, 9:44, 8:52, 9:06, 9:01, 8:59, 8:47, 9:28, 8:49, 8:29

The miles that are slower are mostly up hill miles so I am happy with the consistency.

It's always nice to have a good reason to get out the door! Nice paces in this snow.

WAY to conquer the snowy hilly miles. AWESOME splits to boot!

Did James make it home safely?

SSF ~ it was a rather warm day in the 30s and no wind at least where we ran. It was snowing, the next best thing to raining which is your kinda running! :)
