Went to do my speed day.   I still don't feel well but I am so far behind in my training as it is I went anyway.  Warmed up with one mile at 9:13 then I did 800 meters at 7:30.  My legs felt really good but I got light headed at the end.  After the rest interval I still felt light headed.  I did one more interval and knew it was not going to work.  I really want to get better fast, but old grandmas like me must take a long time to heal.  I will try and get in some easy miles tonight just to make my brain feel like I am not falling too far behind.  I know they really wont help that much physically.

Kathie, you're scaring me. What's up with the light-headedness?? You're only 20 days away from Boston--not much you can do now to improve, but lots you can do to hurt yourself. Err on the side of caution...get well soon. Take a nap!

I was afraid that your Saturday run would get you more sick. Get healthy!

The most important thing is being healthy at this point. You've already put in some great training. Take it easy and get to 100% health and you're going to have a great Boston.

At the peak of training, our body's defense and immune is weakened. Hope you ate breakfast and took in extra EmergenC. No need to play catch up. We need to toe the line healthy and have a FUN time at Boston. NO WORRIES! NO STRESS! Get feeling better!!!
