Wow this run felt great!  I think though that it felt so good because I was medicated.  I have not taken medication for the hammy just so I would be able to tell what was making it worse.  However I had other issues that needed medication for me to even run at all today.  So I took two Motrin before the run.  The schedule showed a 45 minute tempo run.  I decided I would go as fast as I could and still keep my hammy from flaring up.  The miles felt good and the last mile is as fast as I have ever run!  Mile four is slower but it is mostly up hill so It was still threshold effort.

I hope that it was not the medication that made this run so good, and in a few hours when it wears off I will be upset that I pushed so hard.

After the five miles I walked 2.5 miles with my hubby.

Check out the speed on Kathie. Way to push the pace. That is a great run medicated or not.

Hoping that it wasn't just the meds. Great run today.

Wow, that last mile was very fast. Cool. Hope everything is ok after the meds wear off.

Motrin might mask some pain ... BUT IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU FAST!!!! You, my dear friend, and your incredible speed and toughness, is what made that last mile so super speedy!!!! :) :) :)

I am so so so happy for you!

You are AMAZING!!!! :)

(Hope you are still loving it!)
