Ok I am hurt...STINK!  I think I was compensating trying not to hurt my heel and now both my heel and shin hurt.  It was to the point that I could only do 3.5 of the 6 I had planned to do today.  Even when I lifted weights it hurt to even put weight on my shin.  It is not really the shin where the pain starts, it is in the front part of my ankle and the pain radiates up the shin. I have ice on it now and I think I will skip my 6 mile run tomorrow and just do a spin class not sure where to take it from there.

Lifted for legs added dead lifts to the routine

woke up and my shin was still bothering so I iced it all day.  By the end of the day the pain was gone.

6 miles elliptical 11% resistance in 45:36  zero pain!

I think I am going to try and run 13 miles tomorrow.  I will stay close to home so if my leg flares up I can quit.

All easy miles.  I ran 8 with my Garmin, then I handed it off to my son so he could do his 13.  I ran the last 5 with a neighbor probably around 11 minute miles.  It was fun to chat with her.

Splits for first 8: 9:13, 9:18, 9:01, 9:13, 9:47, 9:30, 9:07, 9:02
